Anna Viktoria Castellano (b. March 19, 1993, Milan) is an Italian-German actress and filmmaker.
Raised in Northern Italy, Castellano’s early life was marked by both instability and resilience. Despite a challenging childhood, she found refuge in the arts from a young age, developing a deep and enduring connection to performance. Her education at the European School of Varese fostered a multicultural perspective and led her to become fluent in five languages.
At seventeen, she moved to Austria to pursue a degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management, temporarily setting aside her artistic ambitions. Over the following years, she worked in the hospitality industry while continuing her education, eventually completing her high school diploma through evening studies. During this period, she returned to the stage, performing in local theatre productions and steadily building her craft.
Castellano began her professional acting career in 2015, appearing in theatre festivals before securing leading roles in subsequent productions, including her portrayal of Mary Stuart in 2019. In 2020, she was admitted to a formal acting program in Vienna, where she trained until 2023. Following her graduation, she joined the Tyrolean State Theatre, marking a significant milestone in her career.
In 2024, after more than a decade abroad, Castellano returned to Italy, driven by a desire to reconnect with her roots and redefine her artistic path. That same year, she wrote and produced her first short film, Seven, a project that reflects her personal journey and evolving voice as a filmmaker.
She is currently based in Northern Italy, where she continues to work across film and theatre.
